Product description
With an Exchange Online Plan 1 subscription, you have access to a wide range of Exchange Online functionalities that help you manage and organize your business communication.
You get a generous mailbox size of 50 GB per user, providing ample space to store all your emails. Additionally, you can send emails with attachments up to 150 MB, making it effortless to share large files with your colleagues and business contacts.
To ensure your mailbox remains organized, you can automatically archive old messages in the In-Place Archive. This allows you to store emails in an organized manner, with an additional capacity of 50 GB per user.
Exchange Online Plan 1 also offers convenient collaboration features. You can create and manage shared calendars, making it easy to schedule appointments and check the availability of your team members. Additionally, you can manage groups, contacts, tasks, and meeting rooms to collaborate efficiently with your team.
You can use Exchange Online Plan 1 with supported versions of the Outlook desktop application, Outlook Web App, and Outlook apps. This provides flexibility in choosing your preferred interface to access your email, calendar, and contacts.
To ensure the security of your emails, Exchange Online Protection is included. This offers anti-malware and anti-spam protection, keeping you safe from malicious software and unwanted emails.
If you require more advanced capabilities such as Exchange Online Archiving, you can further expand your Exchange Online Plan 1 subscription. This allows you to add extra features and storage capacity to your subscription.
Exchange Online Plan 1 is available as a per-user subscription. It can also be assigned to a shared mailbox in Exchange Online if the standard capacity and capabilities are insufficient.
Our advice:
Consider subscription options that include the functionality of Exchange Online Plan 1. For slightly more, there is the Microsoft 365 Business Basic subscription, which includes Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business.
With a Microsoft 365 Business Standard subscription, you also have the latest version of Office, including the Outlook desktop application.
Please Note:
In-Place Archive, Retention policies, applying IRM, team mailboxes, and DLP Policy Tips are not available in all versions/editions of the Outlook desktop application. Please review the Outlook license requirements for Exchange features to get an overview of which features are supported in which versions/editions of Outlook. If you purchase an Office 365 subscription with both Office and Exchange Online, you will always have the correct version of Outlook at your disposal.
