Microsoft Exchange Server Subscription Edition Enterprise CALs are additionally required for each user or device that, in addition to the standard functionality, also makes use of the advanced compliance and archiving capabilities of Exchange Server Subscription Edition, such as In-Place Archive, In-Place Hold, and enhanced information protection.

With Microsoft Exchange Server Subscription Edition Enterprise CALs, you can also make use of Exchange Online Protection (anti-malware and anti-spam services) and cloud-based DLP (Data Loss Prevention) in Microsoft 365. These additional services are included and can be used for as long as Software Assurance is active on your licences.

The Microsoft Exchange Server Subscription Edition Enterprise CAL is always an add-on CAL. Each user or device must also have a valid Microsoft Exchange Server Subscription Edition Standard CAL in order to use the full functionality of Exchange Server Subscription Edition.

Microsoft Exchange Server Subscription Edition Enterprise CALs, like the Standard CALs, are available in two variants: User CAL (per user) or Device CAL (per device). User CALs are more cost-effective and convenient when users work with multiple devices. Device CALs are more cost-effective and convenient when multiple users (e.g. part-time staff) share the same device.

If you already have Microsoft Enterprise CAL Suite licences with Software Assurance for your users or devices, then the Microsoft Exchange Server Subscription Edition Enterprise CAL, together with the Standard CAL, is already included and does not need to be purchased separately.

If you already have active Microsoft Exchange Plan 2, Office 365 E3/E5, or Microsoft 365 E3/E5 subscriptions for your users, they already have the same usage rights as a combination of an Exchange Server Subscription Edition Standard and Enterprise User CAL for the duration of the subscription.

SWITCHING CLOUD PROVIDER

Switching to us as your new Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) is a seamless process. The transfer of subscriptions may vary depending on the agreement you have with your current provider. That's why we ensure that the transition to us is smooth, without any downtime! All you need to do is terminate your current agreement.

Subscription Transfer 
Our approach to subscription transfer is simple and seamless. On the day before your current agreement expires, we will activate the desired subscriptions in our Marketplace. This way, you won't experience any issues during the transition, and there will be no interruption in your cloud services. All you have to do is cancel your current contract to prevent automatic renewal.

No Downtime 
When you switch from your current CSP provider to us, you don't have to worry about downtime. NCE
New Commerce Experience (NCE) is the new contract model introduced by Microsoft.
