Product description
The Microsoft Intune Suite is a comprehensive cloud-based service that encompasses all the capabilities of Intune Plan 2, the functionalities of Remote Help, and integrates a new set of essential advanced endpoint management and security features. These capabilities are seamlessly integrated with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Security, making them accessible across different endpoint platforms, both in the cloud and on-premises, for co-managed devices.
Geavanceerde Eindpuntanalyse
Microsoft Intune's advanced endpoint analytics offers a suite of analytics-driven features that empower IT administrators to comprehend, predict, and enhance end-user experiences. By utilizing customized device scopes, endpoint analysis reports can be segmented into subsets of devices. This provides IT administrators with scores, insights, and recommendations specific to certain device groups, such as devices responsible for a particular business group or allocated to a specific geographical region. Monitoring anomalies keeps track of device status within the organization, focusing on user experience and productivity changes after configuration alterations. An improved device timeline displays more events and reduces data latency, aiding in resolving device issues. The advanced features of Endpoint Analytics are automatically integrated into the existing basic endpoint analysis experience within the Intune Management Center.
Endpoint Privilege Management
Supports the journey to Zero Trust by enabling a broad user base to operate with minimal privileges while still being able to perform organization-approved tasks. Microsoft Intune Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM) allows organization users to function as standard users without administrative rights, while enabling them to carry out tasks that require elevated permissions. Such tasks include installing applications like Microsoft 365 apps, updating device drivers, and executing specific Windows diagnostic data. Endpoint Privilege Management contributes to Zero Trust by assisting a wide range of users who operate with minimal privileges while still being permitted to carry out productive tasks.
Remote Help
Secure helpdesk connections with role-based access control. It enables support staff to remotely connect to a user's device. During the session, they can view the user's device and, if allowed by the user, take full control to execute configurations or actions on the device. Remote Help utilizes Intune's role-based access control (RBAC) to set the access level for support staff. Through RBAC, you determine which users can offer help and the level of assistance they can provide. The necessary trust relationships are established via Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for Remote Help sessions. The Remote Help app can be installed on devices enrolled in Intune, including non-enrolled devices. The app can be deployed via Intune on managed devices.
Additionally, with Intune Plan 2, you also have access to:
Microsoft Tunnel for Mobile Application Management
By utilizing the Microsoft Tunnel VPN gateway, organizations can expand tunnel support to Android or iOS devices not enrolled in Microsoft Intune. Tunnel for Mobile Application Management (MAM) extends the Microsoft Tunnel VPN gateway to support these devices.
Specialized Device Management
Encompasses device management, configuration, and security features for specialized, purpose-built devices such as AR/VR headsets, large smart screen devices, and meeting room devices in conference spaces.
