The Microsoft Windows 365 Cross Region Disaster Recovery Add-On is an optional service for Windows 365 Enterprise that protects Cloud PCs and data against regional outages. When properly licensed and activated, it creates geographically distant temporary copies of Cloud PCs that can be accessed in the selected backup region. Windows 365 Cross Region Disaster Recovery helps to increase availability and maintain productivity.

With Microsoft Windows 365 Cross Region Disaster Recovery, regular backups are made of a user’s Cloud PC. In the event of a regional outage, the administrator can activate Microsoft Windows 365 Cross Region Disaster Recovery. It temporarily creates a copy of the user’s Cloud PC in an alternate region, allowing them to continue working. It uses the latest restore point for each Cloud PC and includes all installed applications, user settings, and data.

When the administrator deactivates Windows 365 Cross Region Disaster Recovery after the outage, the temporary Cloud PC is deleted. No applications, settings, data, or other information from the temporary Cloud PC is preserved.

The Microsoft Windows 365 Cross Region Disaster Recovery Add-On is an add-on license and must be purchased for each user with a Windows 365 Enterprise Cloud PC who needs to use it.

SWITCHING CLOUD PROVIDER

Switching to us as your new Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) is a seamless process. The transfer of subscriptions may vary depending on the agreement you have with your current provider. That's why we ensure that the transition to us is smooth, without any downtime! All you need to do is terminate your current agreement.

Subscription Transfer 
Our approach to subscription transfer is simple and seamless. On the day before your current agreement expires, we will activate the desired subscriptions in our Marketplace. This way, you won't experience any issues during the transition, and there will be no interruption in your cloud services. All you have to do is cancel your current contract to prevent automatic renewal.

No Downtime 
When you switch from your current CSP provider to us, you don't have to worry about downtime. As long as we activate the same subscriptions and quantities in our Marketplace on the day before your agreement expires, the transition will be smooth and without any interruptions. NCE
New Commerce Experience (NCE) is the new contract model introduced by Microsoft.
